Enterprise hub in Wrexham to be renovated

An enterprise hub within Wrexham should be up and running when its refurbishment is completed.

The Welsh Assembly has given its support to Wrexham’s new enterprise hub. Resources from the European Regional Development Fund have been used to establish the centre. The hope is that around 260 posts may be generated in a period of two years. Business card printing in Wrexham can be used by start-ups and other SMEs.

Town Square Spaces for Business Wales is poised to deliver the hub and Gareth Jones created this organisation. Jones told BQ Live:

“The response from the community has been very positive. We feel strongly that Wrexham has enough creative and determined people to make a success of this project and build something that will make a positive lasting impact on the growth of the town centre.”

Jones is confident because a start has been made. He revealed that a related club has worked with almost 50 people already. He believes that there is an abundance of entrepreneurial potential out there.

The site on the Rhosddu Road was formerly occupied by Pebble and Iceland. These old units will be developed to make them fit for purpose. The aim is to help businesspeople to prosper. This can be achieved via the provision of guidance, business support and information. The finished space should promote cooperation and creativity.
