Adele anticipates Wembley Stadium gigs

Singer-songwriter Adele confirmed she is looking forward to playing at Wembley Stadium in the summer.

Adele stated she is really keen to perform at four live gigs in Wembley Stadium during June and July 2017. The songstress addressed her fans while she was being honoured during the BBC’s music awards. However, she was unable to attend the event, which was hosted in the ExCeL London venue. Poster printing within Wembley could be used to make merchandise related to the shows.

She wrote:

“I’m so sorry I’m not there. I’ll be home soon and I can’t wait. It’s been a long year on the road and this makes me feel a little less homesick. I can’t wait for Wembley and then to get back to normal. Special thanks to all my fans for voting for the song, you are all amazing.”

As Adele had touring commitments to meet in the United States, she permitted Robbie Williams to pick up the award on her behalf. She was recognised for her album 25. The record was the third one she made in the studio and dates from back in 2015. Williams sent the artist a special message while accepting the accolade for her in her absence.

Other winners at the BBC Music Awards included the popular rock band Coldplay. The Manchester group, The 1975 also triumphed on the night.
