More poster sites planned for service stations

A display advertising company has won a new client that will see more poster sites being added to motorway service stations around the country.

AdMedia, the company who manage advertising in motorway service stations across the UK, recently announced that they would be looking after the advertising sales for Extra Motorway Services. This new client will increase AdMedia’s portfolio significantly and shows that there is still a real appetite for outdoor advertising and poster printing.

South Birmingham is connected to London by the M40 motorway and this road is home to one of the new sites that AdMedia are handling the advertising for. Extra Motorway Services currently have nine motorway operations, all of which will feature posters and six-sheet printed advertisements. These ads will also feature at a service station on the M25 at Cobham, which is near to where the 2012 London Olympics will be held.

AdMedia’s managing director spoke about the newest addition to their portfolio, saying:

“Every one of Extra’s Motorway Service venues provides a real attraction for motorway drivers, offering a combination of modern, state of the art destinations with quality retailers. Our completed motorway advertising package offers massive footfalls and access to a range of different audiences every day – a really attractive proposition to clients, not to mention a unique opportunity around the Olympics.”

Whilst big, national advertising companies tend to handle national clients, local businesses can still get benefit from advertising on posters by contacting local print shops to find out how they can help to maximise any advertising activity.
