Waterloo Wharf apartments in Uxbridge get approval

Plans to develop a set of apartments at Waterloo Wharf have recently been granted planning permission by the planning committee of Hillingdon Council.

As a result of the approval, over 50 flats at the site, located in the Uxbridge area will move onto the next stage of development. Newsletter printing in Ruislip Manor may be used to chart its future progress.

The managing director of Howarth Homes, Dale Wagstaff, told Get West London:

“We were pleased to receive planning consent for Waterloo Wharf having worked diligently to meet all the requirements laid out by the local planners.”

Wagstaff revealed that the planners had delayed the decision. This enabled the committee to visit the site. According to Wagstaff, this allowed the decision makers to see that a conservation area would not suffer from the scheme.

Wagstaff disclosed that Waterloo Wharf had already been a hit with buyers. He said that there were still some apartments up for sale. The building in question will have four storeys. The 52 homes will offer enviable town centre access, even though the flats are located near the bank of a canal in Uxbridge Moor.

There was some confusion about the planning process. This was because some residents were concerned about the timing of the advertising of the development. Nevertheless, the planning application did get the green light via a clear majority of the relevant committee.
