Road reconstruction impacts on bus routes in Ruislip

April 17, 2017 by

Transport for London has revealed that several bus services will undergo disruption.

Road reconstruction is due to have an influence on the buses which currently operate in the area of Ruislip High Street. A diversion has been planned to help protect the interests of passengers. Leaflets from Ruislip Manor could be used to help keep local residents aware of the changes that will affect them.

Hillingdon Council is prepared to take on the Ruislip work. There will be a temporary road closure between Ickenham Road and Eastcote Road. It is hoped that the High Street might be reopened during May. Until this happens, buses will not be able to pick people up at several stops.

The tube station at Ruislip should still be accessible while the work continues because the 331 route will still operate. Residents of the Eastcote Road area will benefit from the presence of a temporary stop as the reconstruction goes on.

Route H13 will see considerable changes throughout the duration of the work due to the closure of the High Street. As well as this, passengers planning to use the train will also find diversions and alternative stops. Plans for route U10 will include the omission of some stops in the High Street area, whilst a temporary stop in Manor Road will be set up.
