Reading’s Broad Street gets a beach

The town centre of Reading has opened an indoor beach facility for families to enjoy this summer, meaning that people will not have to travel all the way to Dover or Devon to enjoy beach-related fun.

The indoor amenity was opened in early August within Broad Street Mall. It will stay open until early September. Poster printing in Reading may be used to promote the available activities.

There is a wide range of things to do at the beach. Children and their parents can take the opportunity to chill out and eat ice creams, there is also the opportunity to get their face painted and construct sand castles.

A marketing executive from Broad Street Mall, Candice Chambers, told Get Reading:

“With all of the amazing entertaining activities we have lined up, we’re confident our Seaside Mall’arkey season will be a huge hit with families.”

In the middle of August, the schedule for the beach includes performances of Punch and Judy. These shows may help to provide a great atmosphere and prove to be a break from the routine of shopping.

In addition to the focus on relaxation, there will also be space for children who want to get involved in arts or crafts. A variety of free workshops will be hosted on Wednesdays during the school holidays so that young people can develop their skills further.
