Potters bar drinking hole acknowledged for quality ale

A pub in Potters Bar has been praised for producing quality real ale from the local Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) branch.

Darke Lane’s Admiral Byng is featured in the Good Beer Guide 2018, with members of the local branch opting for the Wetherspoons venue after regular visits to taste the real ales. The group also accounted for atmosphere, décor, and customer service. A spokesman for CAMRA said:

“The Admiral Byng deserves its place in the Good Beer Guide 2018. It is our belief that if a licensee serves an excellent pint of real ale, then everything else in the pub, including customer service, quality of food and atmosphere, are likely to be of an equally high standard.”

Alex Hartigan, manager of the pub, proudly spoke of the range of ales on offer around the clock, including those provided from microbreweries and regional brewers, in addition to hosting their very own beer festivals.

He added that the pub’s employees work tirelessly to maintain the first-rate condition of their real ales and that they couldn’t be happier that this has been acknowledged in the guide.

When a company has been acknowledged for the work it has done, it usually wants to relay this information on to the local community. Print shops can help do this with services such as newsletter printing and flyers.
