Date set for Leicester Business Festival

The dates for next year’s Leicester Business Festival have been announced following the successful completion of this year’s edition.

It has been confirmed that the festival will get underway on October 28th 2019 and will run until November 8th. Business cards are essential tools at networking events. Associate Events organised the festival this year and Leicester Castle Business School has been one of the main sponsors.

Professor Dana Brown is the principal of the business school and she is clear that the festival enables her institution to have an accurate insight into what local businesses want. Professor Brown told the Leicester Mercury:

“It has brought people together who all share a passion for Leicester and Leicestershire, who know the benefits of living and working here. I think there is so much to be proud of and the festival has played a big part in that.”

In 2018, the festival consisted of a number of events. The organisers felt that the project was successful. Statistics indicate that more than 1,200 firms participated in the affair. This means that significantly more enterprises engaged with the event compared to 2017.

This year, 87% businesses that provided feedback suggested that it had delivered a positive outcome. Over 7,000 people attended the festival and about a fifth of these participants travelled from outside the Leicestershire area.
