Harry Potter exhibition comes to King’s Lynn

King’s Lynn Library is set to welcome a Harry Potter-themed event.

The Harry Potter: A History of Magic event has the support of the British Library and it will be hosted at several libraries across Norfolk. Poster printing from King’s Lynn may be used to help promote events in the region.

The reason behind the celebration of J.K. Rowling’s most famous character is that it is now two decades since the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The Living Knowledge Network is behind the initiative.

There have been six sequels to the popular initial book and several awards have followed as a result. In addition, many millions of copies of the stories have been sold and connected films and merchandise have done remarkably well. J.K. Rowling has exercised a degree of creative control over some of the films in the series and has even been involved in the production of the Deathly Hallows.

The event at King’s Lynn Library may not exhaust the enthusiasm of local fans. Displays and events at Great Yarmouth Library, the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library and Thetford Library are also likely to attract considerable numbers of fans.

Other happenings might well have considerable pulling power. Admirers of Harry Potter could wish to attend a Herbology Workshop, a Care of Magical Birds of Prey show or a Pop Up Wand Shop.
