Gig in Kilmarnock for The View singer

The lead vocalist from one of the most popular bands in Scotland is set to play a solo show in Kilmarnock in the days before Christmas.

Kyle Falconer made his name as the frontman of ‘The View’, with the group establishing itself among the biggest live draws in the country. However, Falconer will be on his own when he takes to the stage of Kilmarnock’s Bakers venue on 22nd December.

Falconer has on the road with the band over the past few weeks, playing several sell-out shows in Glasgow, but with the band now on hiatus, he has decided to set up his first ever gigs as a solo act.

According to the Daily Record, Falconer told a reporter from the Ayrshire Post that he was looking forward to playing in more intimate venues, such as the one in Kilmarnock, and went on to add that:

“I try and play new songs at these gigs, but I know everyone loves the usual stuff so generally I end up sticking with that. But I’ve got a new band for these shows now so I can get on with the new songs.”

Many musicians and their management teams often turn to local printers to create posters and other promotional materials to promote the events and provide fans with merchandise.
