Fans of pop singer Ariana Grande are set for a treat later this year, with the news that she will be coming to Glasgow as part of her upcoming tour.

The popstar is set to play a concert at the city’s SSE Hydro venue during the autumn, as one of the dates on her world tour entitled ‘Sweetener.’ She has recently enjoyed another major worldwide hit with the song ‘Thank U, Next’ and fans can be sure that this and her other signature songs will be on the playlist during the Glasgow concert.

Grande made use of social media site Instagram to announce the European leg of her tour, which will include Dublin, Sheffield, Birmingham and London shows as well as the one in Glasgow. Major pop concerts of this type often use flyer printing alongside modern digital methods when it comes to getting the word out to fans.

The singer has also confirmed what will surely be an emotional gig at a venue in Manchester during her spell in Europe. Tickets for the Glasgow show are already on sale and fans will have to move quickly if they don’t want to miss out on what is sure to be one of the big Scottish concerts of the year.

The concert is scheduled to take place on the 17th September.
