New opportunity for Falkirk printers

April 24, 2010 by

Whenever a new hotel complex is announced anywhere in the UK it triggers the interest of local advertising agencies and print companies, and the recent announcement concerning a £40 million project for a new hotel complex will certainly interest print companies in Falkirk.

The new development has just received planning permission and will see a five-star hotel built out of Glenbervie House Hotel at Larbert. The hotel will also feature a leisure centre and a spa, as well as a restaurant and bar – all of which will need brochure printers in Falkirk.

Once complete, the Falkirk hotel complex will feature 200 luxury bedrooms, as well as suites and rooms for executives. In addition to being good news for Falkirk printers, it’s also good news for the local economy as a whole, with an expected £15 million being generated as a result of the hotel, and an extra 500 jobs being created.

The hotel development is being managed by the Aurora Hotel Collection. Steven McLeod, the chief executive of the Aurora Hotel Collection, commented:

Glenbervie is already an amazing success story and sales in events, weddings, functions and corporate launches are over- whelming.

The new hotel will take it on to another level and put Falkirk again on the global map.

The entire project will be unlike anything on offer in the Falkirk or central Scotland area and it will create many local jobs, in addition to attracting people and further investment to the Falkirk area.

It is going to be something very special.

The hotel is expected to open some time next year.
