Pop-up cinema to set up in Exeter pub

This summer, Exeter’s Double Locks pub is set to host a pop-up cinema in its beer garden.

The scheme involves cooperation between the Double Locks and Exeter Picturehouse. A large screen will be employed to display four films. The event is going to take place as August comes to an end. However, tickets for the movie showings are already on sale. Printing services in Exeter can be used for promotional purposes within the entertainment sector.

Exeter Picturehouse made a statement about the pop-up cinema on its Facebook page. According to Devon Live, the statement read:

“The screenings take place in the open, cardboard bumbox seating will be for sale but feel free to bring along cushions, blankets or small picnic chairs – however these must be placed towards the rear of the grass area. This is a fully licensed and catered event so we cannot accept any alcohol, food and drink to be brought in from outside.”

Exeter Picturehouse clarified that the catering will be delivered via Double Locks. The pub should attract more business if customers are tempted by the proposed films. Top Gun, The Greatest Showman and Labyrinth have been pencilled in to the schedule so far. The identity of a surprise movie is being kept quiet to generate additional interest. The Greatest Showman has a singalong element and may attract lovers of musicals.
