Exeter eatery up for sale

The building housing Exeter’s Urban Burger is for sale and its price has just been cut, making it a lucrative deal for potential buyers.

Urban Burger is located within Queen Street near Exeter’s central train station. Its price is now below £100,000. The building is being showcased by Stonesmith Property Specialist (SPS). Printing services in Exeter can be used to promote local eateries. SPS told Devon Live:

“Our clients have overseen the day-to-day running of the business during their six years of ownership, and the premises are fitted and equipped to an extremely high standard throughout. The restaurant is combined with Urban Underground, a recently refurbished air-conditioned bar which offers a comprehensive drinks list and cocktails in a fresh and gritty décor with live DJs.”

The vision being put forward by SPS is that a new owner would make a great deal of difference to the profitability of the place. This could be realised by an individual who is prepared to get heavily involved in the management of the business. The current menu is based on local produce. A new style could be adopted to achieve sustainable progress, but building on the present offer might also be a productive strategy.

Around 80 consumers may be accommodated within the restaurant and approximately 120 customers can be catered for inside the basement bar. The bar has its own separate entrance. The needs of the business are supplied via a cellar and a catering kitchen. This commercial kitchen is equipped with essential items.
