Bryan Adams is coming to Exeter’s Powderham Castle

The Canadian musician Bryan Adams has pledged to perform at Exeter’s Powderham Castle.

Adams has committed to playing a gig in the open air. Powderham Castle is located about six miles away from Exeter city centre. Flyer printing from Exeter could be used by local bands if they intend to use the same venue as Adams.

The Adams gig is part of a tour which will take him to various locations throughout the UK. Adams said:

“I’m delighted to be continuing my tour and heading to Exeter next summer. It will give me an opportunity to perform tracks from my latest album, Get Up, as well as some of my earlier classics. It’s going to be a special show and I hope my fans are able to join me.”

Adams has worked in the studio to create a well-received album. He has been assisted by Jeff Lynne, the leader of ELO. The album contains four acoustic tracks and nine fresh songs and was released during 2015. Its faster songs attempted to revisit the spirit of his 1980s music.

LLC Live is promoting the Exeter gig and it will take place in the middle of July next year. Bob Reid, a production manager for LLC Live, has expressed his satisfaction at having a performance from Adams near Exeter.
