The Edinburgh Summer Sessions festival will be taking place in August this year, and has already attracted a number of top names from the music industry.

Kasabian, Paloma Faith and Tom Jones are among the first big names to be confirmed as headline performers. The city’s Princes St Gardens has been lined up as the venue for the event, which echoes a similar annual event that is held in Glasgow.

Not only will attendees get to enjoy music from some of the top names in the industry, but they will get to do so with an iconic landmark as the backdrop, as Edinburgh Castle is located behind the Ross Bandstand.

Tickets for the Edinburgh Summer Sessions are already on general sale, so those interested in the event will need to secure their place quickly. Speaking to the Daily Record, event organiser Geoff Ellis stated that he was pleased to be launching the festival in the Scottish capital, adding:

“To have a legend like Tom Jones plus mainstays of the industry like Kasabian and Paloma Faith and the undeniably talented Rag ‘n’ Bone Man proves our commitment to making Edinburgh Summer Sessions one of the real highlights of the summer.”

Poster printing is often used by event organisers to ensure that their shows are sell-outs and that the local community is aware they are taking place.
