Bodybuilding title for Dunfermline man

A fitness coach who lives in Dunfermline has claimed one of the most prestigious bodybuilding titles in Scotland, and now has his sights set on following this up with a national crown.

Chris Dickson was crowned ‘Physique Mr. Scotland’ during the recent Scottish Bodybuilding Championships held by the UK Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (UKBFF). He also impressed the judging panel with his mighty muscles to the extent that he has been put forward for the UK title, as a finalist.

He will compete for this during October and, should he claim another victory, it will represent a remarkable rise for someone who has only been entering bodybuilding competitions since 2015.

Dickson, 30, used to work for retailer Amazon as an area manager, and he told a reporter from the Dunfermline Press that he had finished in fourth spot in his first event and had been training intensively based on the feedback he had received from the judges at that tournament, adding that:

“I grew up playing rugby with my dad so I’ve always been a sportsman all my days but I had to give it up when I got injured. I then started going to the gym to find my next goal and my friends said I should give bodybuilding a go.”

Tournaments like this are often publicised with the use of leaflet printing provided by local firms.
