All aboard for Dunfermline

A new project has been launched to attract some of the thousands of cruise ship passengers, who will dock at Rosyth this summer, into Dunfermline.

Project leader Peter Wilson said, “There is clear potential here for the local tourism businesses.

“With the help of the Dunfermline town marshalls we have already discovered that many passengers arrive with little understanding of the great history that is within 10 minutes of their ship and our first engagement resulted in over 20 taxi journeys taking people up into the town for a day’s exploration.”

This will give many opportunities to local printing businesses for the provision of all types of print including brochures, leaflets and informational material.
