Chesterfield shops in awards contention

A number of shops are in the running for awards recognition after the Chesterfield Retail Awards shortlist has been announced.

This is the fifth year that these awards have been held in the town and, as with previous years, Destination Chesterfield is organising them. The list of contenders features 31 market stalls and shops that will battle it out to win a prize in one of the 15 different categories – with Retailer of the Year being the most prestigious.

Among the local firms that have made it onto the shortlist are the likes of The Therapy Lounge, Nails & Beauty, Finesse Hair, Ingman’s, Libby’s, Green & Benz, Olympia House Antiques & Craft Centre and Baby to Bigger.

The Winding Wheel is set to be the venue for the awards night, which will take place on 13th June. Speaking to a reporter from the Ripley and Heanor News, the manager of Destination Chesterfield, Dom Stevens, stated:

“The awards are a great opportunity for everyone to recognise the hard work and contributions individuals and businesses make to the town’s flourishing retail scene.”

Shops and businesses in the Chesterfield area can rely on local printers to provide logo design, if they need help getting their brand recognised and established amongst people living and working in the area.
