New BBC drama centre could create demand for business card printing in Cardiff

As part of a series of location shake-ups, the BBC recently unveiled plans to move the majority of its drama production output to Cardiff, Wales. These plans have divided both the corporation itself and audiences, as the move is viewed as being somewhat controversial. The plans to move a significant portion of the BBC’s headquarters operation to the UK media city in Salford near Manchester has created a similar divide. However, local people in Cardiff are welcoming the new drama village as it is viewed as a positive, progressive move by the BBC and could boost the arts and culture scene in the city.

The BBC’s relocation from London to Cardiff could also see an increase in the demand for business card printing in Cardiff, thanks to the fact that several executives, producers and other BBC staff will be relocating to the area. Local printing companies in Cardiff have significant experience in helping companies and organisations to oversee relocations of businesses and making sure that the transition is a smooth one, from offering stationery printing in Cardiff to being able to take care of business card printing. Cardiff businesses are welcoming the influx of new visitors and residents to the city and local printing companies in Cardiff are no exception to this. There are a number of programmes already filmed in Cardiff, including the ever-popular Doctor Who series and Torchwood. This is set to be joined by Casualty and a raft of other dramas that could really help put Cardiff on the media map.
