Cardiff to get new craft beer bar

A new bar is set to open in Cardiff later this year that will specialise in craft beers and ales.

The venue will be called the Head of Steam and will be located on Church Street. The chosen site was formerly home to Harvester, which shut down earlier this year. Head of Steam will feature 19 lines, including 10 of cask ale, several rotating craft keg choices and locally sourced beers.

Furthermore, the bar will cater to those who prefer alternative drinks, by providing spirits, wines, both beer and premium cocktails, in addition to a variety of soft drink options.

Visitors to the bar will also be able to grab a bite to eat, from a menu that features burgers and pizza, as well as modern variations on British pub meals. Speaking to Wales Online, Chris Soley from Camerons Brewery, stated:

“We are delighted to have found a venue right in the heart of the city and we feel our range of beers and foods will complement the fantastic array of pubs and bars in the area.”

Head of Steam is just one of many new bars and restaurants to open on Church Street in recent times. The Botanist and Vietnamese restaurant Pho have also chosen this location to open in.

Logo design is an important part of the launch of new bars and other businesses and it is often provided by local printers.
