Cardiff to get new Bodlon outlet

June 3, 2018 by

Bodlon, a restaurant chain, has announced plans to open up a further branch in Cardiff later this month.

The company already has two outlets in Cardiff, one situated within the centre of town and one in Whitchurch, but the founders of the chain have stated that this latest one will offer residents something different. It is set to be a blend of a café and a deli, featuring Welsh food choices plus juices and smoothies created in-store.

The branch will also contain a retro machine offering fresh peanut butter purchased from the US, and a specialist salad counter. Those who visit will be given the chance to use an app to order food or drinks in advance.

It is scheduled to open its doors during the middle of the month and will be located on Whitchurch Road. Speaking to Wales Online, Colin Gray – one of the two founders of the chain – stated:

“A lot of the thinking behind the new premises is to do with plastic and food waste. We’re trying to reduce the amount of plastic. People will also be able to bring their own containers for the salad bar and hot food for the peanut butter.”

Promotional products are often used by new restaurants and stores to advertise themselves to the local community prior to their launch.
