Tickets for Cambridge Folk Festival on sale

February 3, 2018 by

It is now possible to obtain tickets for Cambridge’s annual folk festival.

The big event is scheduled to take place in early August. There is normally a lot of interest so fans have been told to get their orders in early. Flyers from Cambridge may be used by event organisers for promotional purposes. Special tickets for campers are also available. These tickets are particularly appropriate for those with small tents. Meanwhile, people who take camper vans and caravans will need to use vehicle passes to secure access to the site.

The line-up for 2018 is studded with stars. Rosanne Cash, Patti Smith, John Prine and Janis Ian should all be in attendance during the weekend. The two stages will be set up in such a way as to allow people with disabilities to enjoy the experience.

Folk fans will be able to bring their own alcohol to the festival. They are also allowed to take food along. However, glass bottles are prohibited. Of course, everyone will have the chance to purchase drinks when at the event.

Access to the various acts shall be enabled if fans opt to use public transport. Some free bus journeys will be made available to festivalgoers. These trips could be ideal for music fans travelling from central Cambridge to Cherry Hinton Hall, for example.
