Posters promote music event

Greater Manchester will soon see a rash of posters promoting the city’s yearly music industry gathering, In the City. Companies who offer poster printing in Bolton or other areas around Greater Manchester have worked hard to produce billboard and bus shelter posters to promote the In the City festival prior to the event which will take place in the middle of October.

A Manchester creative agency called Young has developed the design illustrations and the brand identity for the festival which has focused around the strap line “That That Don’t Kill Me Can Only Make Me Stronger”. Featuring an illustration of a broken record, it is hoped that Young’s design has captured the organiser’s vision for their festival whilst acknowledging the current turmoil in the music industry as it faces challenges in a digital era.

From this week, people in the region will see the large format posters and bus shelter 6 sheet posters going up around the region highlighting the forthcoming event to car driving and pedestrian audiences alike.

In The City is an annual conference in Manchester for the music industry and will run from the 13th – 15th October showcasing some new music talent to the industry over the course of the three evenings. The Northern Quarter and Piccadilly areas of the city will play host to the event and during the day, the music industry of Manchester will debate some of the hottest topics of the business as well as workshops and speeches from influential and controversial figures.
