Television talent show coming to Birmingham

Those who live in Birmingham and believe that they have an undiscovered talent will get the chance to prove it later this month, when the country’s top television talent show hits the city.

Production staff from the smash hit show Britain’s Got Talent will be coming to Birmingham for two days so that they can carry out open auditions. The ICC, which is located on Broad Street, will serve as the venue and people of all ages are being encouraged to come along and showcase what they can do.

Those who manage to catch the eye of the production team could end up having a shot at strutting their stuff in front of the television judging panel, made up of Amanda Holden, David Walliams, Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon.

Producers for the show are also set to come back to the city for filming work on the new series during 2018, which is likely to air in the spring. Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, Charlie Irwin, a producer for the series, stated that:

“Britain’s Got Talent 2017 was a fantastic year for talent…Now, we can’t wait to see what talent Birmingham has to offer for the 2018 series.”

The auditions will take place on 21st and 22nd of October and there is a good chance that places supplying leaflet printing will be used to advertise them.
