Family rave coming to Birmingham

Families living in Birmingham are set to have another option available to them when it comes to having fun together this summer, with the news that Big Fish Little Fish will be bringing its family-friendly rave back to the city.

On the six previous occasions that these events have been held in Birmingham, all of them in the Rainbow Warehouse, they have been smash hits with local people. The theme for the upcoming one is ‘animal fantastical’ with people being encouraged to dress up in fancy dress costumes for it.

The woman organising the event, Anna Emery, has urged dads, mums and children living in Birmingham to embrace their inner animal and is promising another day of entertainment and excitement for everyone.

The mother of two, who lives in the city’s Kings Heath district, told the Birmingham Mail that the popular local DJs Gershwin and Glenn Aston were on board and that facilities would include a craft area, ball pool and bar, adding:

“They will be bringing a mix of house, rave, old skool and drum & bass to our multisensory dancefloor with club visuals, glitter cannon, bubbles, giant bouncy balloons and topped off with the famous parachute dance.”

The rave will take place on 25th June and leaflet printing is one of the ways the event can promote it to the city’s residents.
