Those living in Birmingham who have a taste for gin have been given the best possible start to 2019, with the news that a touring festival dedicated to the drink will be coming to the city.

The Great British Gin Festival is the largest event of its kind in the UK and it is set to make a stop-off in Birmingham during the spring. The touring festival will be visiting a range of locations around the country beginning in February, with Digbeth’s The Mill to serve as the venue when it reaches Birmingham.

With more than 100 different brands of the drink that used to be known as Mother’s Ruin on offer at the festival, it is something that no local gin enthusiast will want to miss. Alongside the different gins, the event will also feature food supplied by vendors from the area, live musical entertainment, and gin experts and producers giving presentations.

Furthermore, everyone who decides to go along to the festival will be given a special commemorative gin glass, as well as a copy of The Great British Gin Festival official bible. Promotional products of this sort that are used to advertise events are often manufactured by print firms that are based in the local area.

The festival will arrive in Birmingham on May 18 and tokens for the bars will be available on the day.
