New base for education centre in Ayr

Young people living in Ayr and the wider local area are set to be able to reap the benefits of high quality teaching, with the news that an education centre within the town has reopened at a new address.

Kip McGrath used to be situated in Wellington Square, within the centre of Ayr, but has now moved into premises on River Street, with these new headquarters offering nearly twice as much space as the old one. The centre officially reopened for business on the 6th January.

The manager and owner of the centre is Liz McKay, who previously worked as an assistant principal teacher, and the centre provides maths and English classes for those aged between four and 18, ahead of their exams.

Speaking to a reporter from the Daily Record, McKay stated that during the half decade that the centre has been around, it has established an impressive team of qualified tutors and is teaching hundreds of local young people, adding:

“As a result of our continued growth, it is time for a change…The move will ensure that the tuition for each student continues to be as thorough and successful as it has been so far.”

Centres like this can make use of printers in the town that supply stationery printing, so that they have everything they need for admin purposes.
