Co-working hub relocates to Altrincham

Altspace, a co-working hub, is moving to fresh premises in Altrincham.

The new centre is about 3000 square feet, whereas the old space was approximately 500 square feet. This relocation comes after a positive year for the organisation – more than 200 workers have had their needs addressed via the centre over the last 12 months. Individuals can use marketing services from Altrincham to take their firms to the next level. Steve Upham, the founder of Altspace, told Altrincham Today:

“The coworking movement has taken off across Manchester as a whole and there’s also been a growing demand for space from small companies who wish to work together in Altrincham. I’m investing in this new larger office to give greater support to small businesses and remote workers wishing to work in our thriving market town.”

Upham has experience of working in the media and the third sector. Last year, he left southern England behind to try his luck up North. His wife also made the move from London, so Upham is passionate about the potential of creative spaces.

Altspace has a range of membership packages to offer to budding entrepreneurs. It is possible for someone to hot desk for a day. However, a monthly full-time deal is also available and annual contracts can be signed. Quiet zones and communal dining spaces are features of the new complex.
