Team building Santa run in Aberdeen

December 2, 2009 by

There is a particularly season event taking place this month in Aberdeen, one that may benefit print companies in Aberdeen. As a result of the Santa Run, some extra work may be generated for banner and poster printers but the main benefit seems to be the team building possibilities that such an event offers. Event organizer Mick Jackson, founder of WildHearts charity, says

it presents an ideal, effective team-building opportunity for businesses

The Aberdeen Santa Fun Run on 6thDecember kicks off at Pittodrie Stadium. Santas then run the beachfront course before completing the run back at the stadium with a lap of honour, amongst much hilarity and applause.

The year 2009; year of the ‘credit crunch’ and recession has been difficult for business. Printing firms who have survived, or even achieved some growth in these circumstances, are those with dedicated hardworking staff who know how to work as a team.

The WildHeart organisation is about the promotion of micro finance and helping people to help themselves.

It is also about helping young people to lead healthier, active lives, so, if your orders for stationery printing have dropped off a bit lately or your print company in Aberdeen has had a bumpy ride this year; you might think about encouraging your staff to enter this local Aberdeen Christmas event. The enjoyment and togetherness experienced in taking part could well act as the catalyst for developing a much closer team spirit amongst your colleagues; which could well result in better efficiency and increased business for your organisation.
