South Birmingham shoppers may welcome new Primark

Consumers from south Birmingham might be attracted by a new Primark megastore.

The hope was that the Birmingham-based retail outlet would open last year. However, the project has been affected by a considerable delay. Print shops can be useful for companies that need to alter their plans and documentation.

South Birmingham’s communities are likely to want to take a look at the large Primark store when it is ready for business. Additional work is being undertaken at the moment.

A spring launch is envisaged by Primark. Nevertheless, some of the hoardings on the site of the old Pavilions retail centre have been taken down already. The store will be approximately 160,000 square feet in size. A statement from Primark said:

“This is a unique store, with many new and exciting elements, and we want to ensure that we have the best possible in-store experience for our customers when our doors open.”

It seems that the emphasis of the new Primark will be placed on the delivery of something out of the ordinary. Three dining areas, a beauty studio and a barber space should add colour to the offer.

About 900 workers will be employed at the flagship store. Some of the staff are being transferred from a nearby outlet. Compared with several of its high street rivals, Primark has been demonstrating economic resilience in recent months.
