An author from Redditch has been giving literary advice to students at her old school.

Carla Kovach is a novelist who focuses largely on crime fiction. She visited her former school in Redditch recently and inspired students with a talk. Creativity is central to the writing process and descriptions need to be effective. It is essential that the finished product can engage with readers. Writers of all types can benefit from using business cards when expanding their networks.

Sarah Noble, a teacher at the school, told the Redditch Standard:

“Carla gave an extremely insightful presentation into her career as a successful author and provided the students with lots of interesting information as to how she got to be where she is.”

Years ago, Kovach loved her lessons in English. Her teacher must have appreciated her homework a lot because it was read out to the class in days gone by.

Kovach has produced an abundance of work and it has sold well. As a result, a publisher opted to give her a deal that involved three books. Bookouture is poised to release a novel called ‘Her Pretty Bones’. ‘Her Final Hour’ and ‘The Next Girl’ have already been published.

Gina Harte is the name of the detective invented by Kovach. The author has started out on another narrative about her heroine. This story stretches to approximately 30,000 words at present.
