Inaugural business week on the way to King’s Lynn

King’s Lynn means business next week, in what will be a local first.

Discover King’s Lynn (DKL) is behind the mid-October Business Week event, and business cards can be of importance when networking opportunities like this become available.

Darren Taylor, the chairperson at DKL, told Lynn News:

“King’s Lynn has a vast amount of professional services and the event is designed to showcase this, but also to offer opportunities to broaden knowledge bases and network with industry colleagues.”

Entrepreneurs are likely to learn a lot during the sessions, which start next Monday, October 15. A range of workshops should enable people to pick up some great useful tips, and training will be made accessible, so novices could be in a positive place to use LinkedIn and Sage Software by October 18 when the events draw to a close.

Ring Associates’ Simon Ring is scheduled to give a talk at the Debating Chamber at the conclusion of the business week. He will discuss his experience of engaging in local enterprise.

Chris Scargill of Larking Gowen will join the debate with Ring. He will be talking about the positive economic impact of tourism on the area, as well as giving an insight into statistics. Coastal regeneration expert Wayne Hemingway is also going to bring something distinctive to the table.
