Romford’s shopping centre showcased business success at the recent Mercury Retailer Awards (MRA).

This year, the MRA highlighted how well companies in the mall are doing. In particular, community efforts received recognition. Business cards from Romford can be essential for firms which want to engage in networking.

The Small Retailer of the Year prize was given to Liberty Flowers, while the Large Retailer of the Year award was taken home by McDonalds. The Entertainer got the top prize, the Shining Star award, due to large numbers of positive reviews from consumers. Children and families are made to feel welcome by the staff who work for the business.

Centre manager Spencer Hawken underlined how the winning businesses deserved their accolades. He suggested that the occasion had been an inspirational affair. In addition, he praised shoppers who had participated in the process. Natalie Bays, a senior executive at the retail centre, told the Romford Recorder:

“From big high street names to smaller individual businesses, everyone had an equal chance to win with a customer centric voting system.”

Bays congratulated all the organisations nominated for awards. She implied that it was quite important for enterprises to take pride in their achievements.

Asda got an award due to its impressive record across the board. It assists in the education of children on the subject of food. In addition, it supports a food bank.
