A Wembley Park contract has been secured by Wates Construction, which will see the company build over 600 apartments.

The deal involving Wembley Park is worth in excess of £160 million. The development work was undertaken by Quintain. Matt Voyce, the construction director, stated:

“This latest contract marks an exciting phase in the development, helping to bring forward 633 much needed new homes at Wembley Park. We look forward to working with Wates on this project.”

Wates Construction is one of several contractors being employed by Quintain. The hope is that the accommodation will be completed by 2020. Brochure printing from Wembley can be used for promotional purposes by firms within the property sector.

The idea behind the apartments is that they will form a mixed community. Some of the homes will be rented, while others will be made available for sale. A proportion of the housing will be finished to fit in the affordable rent category.

The development is located adjacent to Olympic Way and is the largest scheme involving Wates Construction in Wembley Park. However, the contractor has been engaged in the construction of 361 homes elsewhere. These residences be accessible to the public at some point in 2018.

Quintain has also been extremely busy. It has transformed the Wembley Arena, intervened in the public realm and finished about 1,400 homes.
