Fundraising walk to take place in Kings Lynn

The Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Kings Lynn Debt Centre is to benefit from a charity walk which will take place on the Sandringham Estate.

The event will assist the centre to raise money and has been pencilled in for late July. Printing services in Kings Lynn can boost third sector organisations. Emily Hart manages the CAP Kings Lynn Debt Centre and she told Network Norwich and Norfolk:

“The money raised from the sponsored walk will go to support CAP Kings Lynn locally to continue to be able to provide a free debt counselling program to people in Kings Lynn and the surrounding areas.”

The walk has been designed to cater for families. Face painting will be made available so that children are entertained free of charge and picnics will be encouraged. Two routes have been planned so that youngsters do not have to take on a tough challenge.

The debt centre has been working in partnership with Churches Together in Kings Lynn for more than two years. By teaming up the organisation, the hub has assisted lots of people to cope with their financial problems.

Unfortunately, there has been a surge in local people requiring debt solutions during the last year and the waiting list for the service has been full for an extended period of time.
