Regeneration near Hayes continues

Hillingdon Council has plans to move forward with the regeneration of Hayes and the surrounding areas.

The local authority has already transformed the centre of Hayes. It now wants to use the Regeneration Fund of the Mayor of London to improve the High Street of Uxbridge. Consultation will facilitate this process. The space around the Civic Centre should obtain some welcome investment as a result. Printing services in Hayes can be used by organisations that want to communicate with the public.

The regeneration process within Hayes has had a significant impact by building on the local heritage. In particular, the experts worked hard to pay tribute to the musical past of the district. Belmore Parade and Lidl Square also received attention during the course of the upgrade.

The centre of Eastcote shall also get a real boost. Over £1 million will be spent on redeveloping the area. A consultative initiative has already taken place to establish what the local community is thinking.

The public realm of West Drayton is going to be improved too. As the area is going to benefit from the extension of Crossrail, this investment may be especially shrewd. Over £1.5 million will be spent within West Drayton.

Hillingdon Council is conscious of the traditional character of the village of Harefield. However, the local authority has pledged to upgrade the place, while conserving its traditional aspect.
