Dunfermline to get new burger outlet

One of the top gourmet burger chains in the US is set to open a branch in Dunfermline in the near future, giving residents of the town a new dining option.

Since it was founded over a decade ago, the Smashburger chain has gone on to become a major burger brand, and it is now expanding into the UK with the launch of a second restaurant in Scotland. Fife Leisure Park is the chosen location for the outlet and it set to attract Dunfermline’s burger lovers to its doors.

At the moment, the exact date when Smashburger will open has not yet been confirmed, but the restaurant is expected to be up and running by the middle of December – just in time for Christmas dinner.

According to a spokesperson for the chain, who spoke to a reporter from the Dunfermline Press, it will be open all day, every day and is aiming to offer local people a taste of the food available in the meatpacking district of New York.

Alongside the burgers on the menu, curious visitors can expect to find ice-cream shakes, salads, crispy chicken sandwiches and the unique Tagais Stack burger, which was created after asking Scots for meal ideas.

When new restaurant open, they are able to call upon places that supply promotional drinkware for help with advertising.
