Clydebank Primary Schools Raise Money

October 11, 2017 by

Three Clydebank Primary Schools have done really well in raising money for leading cancer charity Macmillans.

The pupils from Clydemuir, Linnvale and Whitecrook Primaries all hit the kitchens to provide baking and tea and coffee for the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning to which they invited teachers, support staff as well as parents and friends of the schools.  Between them well over £2000 was raised by the children’s efforts.

As well as the bakes and drinks, the pupils also organised raffles, competitions like guess the birthday / height etc too.  Of course there are many people in the background who helped the kids efforts and thanks go to them as well – teachers and families too.

Macmillan Coffee Mornings raise money for the care of people who have cancer as well as for research into the disease too.

Events such as these can benefit from having good publicity flyers and tickets designed by local printers.
