Alexandria Football Match

In Alexandria a football match with a difference took place – it was to raise funds for the continuing efforts to find missing Lisa Brown.  Organisers said afterwards that just over £2000 had been raised by the event and a thank you was given to all those who supported both the football match and the meal afterwards.

Lisa has been missing for coming up on two years when she was first reported missing in Spain by her partner.  The funds go towards a reward that is in place for information that helps find Lisa.  Her partner is currently on bail but has been arrested in Spain after being extradited there from a Scandinavian country on suspicion of murder though no body has yet been found.  The family has been mounting a series of events to keep Lisa’s name in the press and hopefully lead to a resolution in the search.  This has led to the climbing on mountains to Prime Ministers Questions.

In situations where a person is missing, it is useful to use local printers to produce posters and flyers with details and pictures as they can act as an aide-memoire for members of the public.  It can also be the case that they will help produce tickets and flyers for events such as the football match at a discounted rate.
