Glasgow to get branch of Monki

One of the country’s top online brand names has chosen Glasgow to be the location of its newest store.

Monki has built a strong reputation among fashion fans for clothing that combines Asian street styles with Scandinavian cool, and it is now set to open its first ever branch in Scotland. The company will open its doors to the public later in the autumn and will be based within the Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow city centre.

It is one of two new outlets that Monki is launching this year, with the other one being based in London. Both of these new shops will be adopting the brand’s concept, known as Monki World – which involves those visiting the stores exploring an imaginary world.

This concept includes walls decorated in shimmering styles and rainbow-hued fitting rooms, so customers will experience something magical when they set foot inside. Speaking to Glasgow Live, Lea Rytz Goldman, the Managing Director of the company, stated that:

“We are delighted to be opening two new stores. We love London, but it’s also very exciting to finally be able to offer our stylish Scottish fans the full Monki experience.”

When a company decides to open a new store, it may decide to call upon the services of local printers, that can provide leaflet printing, banners and flyers to help with its grand opening.
