Golf simulator launched at club in East Kilbride

A brand new state-of-the-art instruction bay and golf simulator is now available for members of Print company in East Kilbride printing services East Kilbride Golf Club to use, and it will offer them the chance to try out some of the world’s most famous courses.

The club raised the £75,000 needed to purchase this piece of equipment alongside Graeme Bell, its current director of golf. Already club members who have been inspired by Jordan Spieth’s victory in this year’s Open are using the Swing Lab to take on the Royal Birkdale greens and try to replicate his scores.

As he officially launched the Swing Lab simulator, the captain of the club, Ian McDonald, stated that it had a key role to play in the club’s aims for the future, and according to the Daily Record he added:

“This is a huge investment not just for the club but also for Graeme. It gives us a unique asset that underlines our determination to be the very best in course presentation, catering and golf facilities.”
