Chesterfield to get new female business network

Women living in Chesterfield who have started their own small businesses, or are planning to do so, are set to benefit from the launch of a brand new corporate networking service specifically for them.

This service will be set up by the Women in Business Network, which is an organisation that female business owners can apply to become members of. It is aimed at providing them with the opportunities and connections that they need to give their companies the best chance of succeeding.

A wide range of businesses are involved with the WIBN, which provides meet-ups once a month where members can secure new contacts, team up on collaborative projects and do business with one another.

The new group being set up in Chesterfield comes in the wake of the success of ones in Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire and it will be the first Derbyshire branch of the WIBN. It is set to launch in early October and Paula Grizzard from the WIBN told East Midlands Business Link that:

“We are impressed with the drive for business in Chesterfield and keen to set up our newest WIBN group here to be part of the growth and investment in the town.”

Those who start up businesses in the local area can always rely on existing companies offering services like digital business cards, to supply the networking tools needed.
