Banner printing in Wrexham to boost awareness of new attraction
January 6, 2011 by Gareth
Wrexham authorities are set to decide whether or not a brand new tourist attraction will be granted planning permission. The Dragon Tower is a planned statue that would stand at 45 metres high and would be Wrexham’s answer to the already famous Angel of the North. Local authorities hope that the attraction could bring in over200,000 tourists each year. Local printing companies in Wrexham have been used to being employed by local businesses to promote various attractions in the area and there would be a real opportunity to raise the profile of the statue using banner printing. Wrexham residents have welcomed the idea of the statue and the fact that it would bring tourism and in turn, more custom for local businesses to the area. However, there has been concern over whether or not this would be promoted efficiently enough.
Local authorities who may be concerned about how they will attract tourists to the area could benefit from using speaking to local print companies about services like banner printing to promote The Dragon Tower and other Wrexham attractions. By using a local company, local councils or governing bodies can be assured that their money is well spent as using regional companies would support Wrexham’s own economy and this sends out a positive message to visitors and residents alike. The decision on whether or not planning permission for The Dragon will be granted is due to be made by local authorities in January 2011.
