Transport grant looks to bring in business for print companies in Stoke on Trent
December 15, 2010 by Gareth
A grant of £3,000 has been awarded to North Staffordshire Community Rail Partnership to allow them to fund the production of a series of promotional posters and newsletters. Local printing companies in Stoke on Trent have welcomed the news of this grant as it looks set to bring in a significant amount of business for those companies offering services such as poster printing. Stoke on Trent students will design the posters which will promote environmental awareness and the initiatives that are being run by North Staffordshire Community Rail Partnership, as well as highlighting tourist attractions that are accessible by using local railway lines. The newsletter is due to be printed by a local print company in Stoke on Trent and this will be distributed to homes throughout the area in January 2011.
This enthusiasm for printed marketing material is something that should allow companies that offer services like poster and flyer printing in Stoke on Trent to showcase their efficiency and proficiency in all things print. The promotional campaign that is funded by the grant is set to be run at a high profile level, particularly because the poster and flyer designs will be supervised by successful local artist Anthony Hammond.
This is set to be a real opportunity for printing services in Stoke on Trent to showcase their skills and get a foot in the door with an influential local partnership who could be set to generate more print requests in future.
