Stoke-On-Trent has finally rescheduled the centenary celebrations that the local council were forced to postpone after snowstorms prevented these from taking place in December last year. The new date for the grand finale to the centenary celebrations is Saturday 26th March 2010 and the revised programme of events looks set to be a real crowd-pleaser. In addition to a spectacular firework display held by world-famous pyrotechnicians Walk The Plank, there will also be a live music event featuring number-one chart-topping rapper Chipmunk and up and coming star of the dance and dubstep scene, Katy B. Stoke-On-Trent Council are working hard to promote the event and companies that offer poster printing in Stoke-On-Trent are more than willing to get involved with the promotion of the finale. Poster printing has been used for a number of years by local authorities throughout the UK when it comes to promoting Council-led events and Stoke-On-Trent City Council are no exception when it comes to recognising the power of promotion by poster printing.
Stoke-On-Trent City Council is set to hold the centenary finale in Hanley Park. Big-name headliners like Chipmunk and Katy B are the kind of acts that lend themselves well to promotional posters as they make for eye-catching headlines and this method of promotion is sure to drum up significant interest in the event after many people were left disappointed following the cancellation of the original celebration last year. Stoke-On-Trent City Council hopes that with the extra planning time that they have had, they will have created an event that will truly wow the people of the City.
