Council to print giant greetings card to welcome stars to Stoke-on-Trent

2011Live is a live music event held in Stoke’s Hanley Park each year in conjunction with Signal 1 Radio. This year’s concert will be held on 16th July and features acts such as Pixie Lott, Tinchy Stryder and Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts. The council is asking school pupils from across the region to send in poems or verses about music in the city and a winning school will then be chosen to have their verse featured in the card, which will then be produced using Print company in full colour printing printing services full colour printing.

Stoke-on-Trent Council will then reward the winning entry with five guest passes to the 2011Live event – plus the chance to meet some of the stars who are performing – and the card will be signed by the artists and returned to the winner as a souvenir.
