A local youth worker has been selected to feature in a national poster advertising campaign for Coca Cola as part of the run up to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Elijah Kirby is a 24 year-old youth worker from Harrow. He is one of the UK’s Olympic Torch Bearers who will be central to the lead-up to the Olympic Games as they carry the Olympic flame through the UK’s towns and cities. There are 3,000 people in the torch bearing procession in total and Elijah was one of just 20 people who were chosen to feature in a poster campaign for Coca Cola. The posters feature pop singer Eliza Doolittle alongside the chosen torch-bearers.

Elijah commented on the being chosen to feature in the posters, saying:

“It’s going to be so surreal seeing my face up there. If someone said to me this time last year I’d be starring in an Olympic poster with Eliza Doolittle, I’d have thought they were pulling my leg.”

The posters are being created by Coca Cola in the run up to the games to generate enthusiasm for and awareness of the torch bearing procession. Coca Cola will benefit from increased brand awareness in the run up to the Games by combining a strong, UK-wide media presence with tried-and tested Print company in poster printing printing services poster printing.

Print company in Ruislip Manor printing services Ruislip Manor residents will be able to see the Olympic torch pass through nearby Hillingdon from the 24th July. Those who miss the torch-bearing procession are sure to be able to catch Elijah on posters and billboards across the country over the coming weeks.
