Flyer printing could help Preston shops trial late night opening
January 8, 2011 by Gareth
Preston’s city centre shops could soon benefit from increased profits thanks to a pioneering move to increase opening hours across some of the major retailers in the city. This move, orchestrated by the city’s Business Improvement District could be a great opportunity for companies offering flyer printing in Preston as many of these shops will look to promote their new opening hours by the means of flyer distribution. This will help raise the profile of shops as well as promoting new shopping times.
Some key retailers already open until 8 o’ clock in the evening on Wednesdays, but this new move is set to encourage other retailers to join them and make late night shopping a city-wide initiative in Preston city centre. The local Business Improvement District hopes that this will see shoppers spending more and thus will boost the economy of Preston.
Preston shops often favour local printing companies over larger, online-based firms because they offer a more convenient service that is locally based. In additional to the benefits of being located close to local shops in Preston, printing companies based in the area are able to offer a bespoke, tailored service that will help maximise return on investment for shops using flyer printing to promote Preston’s late night city centre shopping.
