Ferry company announces new routes to sail from Poole

A ferry company has announced the addition of several new sailing routes that are now available from Poole in Dorset.
Condor Ferries have announced that several new routes have been added to their offering, sailing between the Dorset coastal town and France. As well as sailing to the continent, the company also plans to reintroduce day trips to the channel islands of Guernsey and Jersey. These new routes will hopefully boost tourism in Poole itself as many travellers often choose to spend a day or two in Poole prior to setting sail.
Condor Ferries also run the holiday company Condor Breaks. Condor Breaks offers its customers information and booking services for holidays in the channel islands and these new ferry day trips will add to the amount of customers using Condor Breaks as well as increasing the number of passengers on board Condor Ferries. Condor Breaks produce brochures advertising their holidays so these new sailing routes will no doubt be featured, meaning more work for the company’s brochure printers.
Poole will be the starting point for many holidays in 2012 thanks to these new routes from Condor. The company’s Sales and Marketing Director spoke to the Bournemouth Echo, saying:
“We have worked hard to ensure that our 2012 summer schedule allows our passengers even greater freedom when it comes to sailing times for trips to France and the Channel Islands next year. Our increased sailings from Poole demonstrates our commitment to the Dorset port.”
